Life is gameplay of trials and errors, but recent years were more like experiences flooded with constant errors. It is all due to the evergoing pandemic, which has no intentions to stop anytime soon. Luckily, at least musicians have plenty of time to write, compose and record the ideas they’ve kept for so long. Croatian alternative(indie/punk project Error_2020 treated us with another extended play, so at least there is some light at the end of the tunnel this year.
This time, Error_2020 gathers creme de la creme od Croatian underground scene, such as Hrvoje Jagarinec – Jaga (Kiper, Paruzija, Minus Cway, Garage Monsters) on lead vocals and bass guitar, Gordan Lončar – Gogo (Kain, Anesthesia, Metaljeros) on guitars, and Silvio Centamore (Italian studio and session musician). This release also brings Davor Novosel – Daba (dno, Cherkezi United, Porota, Minus cway, Vegetable Soup) on the position of a second guitar. It’s also good to mention that the cover art is made by Magda Jagarinec, a young graphic artist.
Mars EP carries five compositions that continuously levitate somewhere between alternative, indie, punk rock, and metal sound. It’s something that we get used to when it comes to Error_2020. Still, it seems this EP delivers a whole new set of ideas, excellent musicianship, and polished production. Mars EP is available for listening HERE
