London alternative rock band Foxglove have released their debut four-track EP, Skinwalker. Recorded at Up Top Studios in St Albans, the release presents a dark, atmospheric blend of grunge, folk, and stripped-back songwriting.
The EP opens with its title track, “Skinwalker,” an atmospheric arrangement echoing the intimacy of Alice in Chains’ Jar of Flies and Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged. The remaining tracks expand the band’s dynamic palette: “Twinflower” dips into dark, psychedelic folk, “Let’s Share the Heroin Needle” offers a raw acoustic performance, and “Like Kirsten Dunst” closes with a driving pop-rock approach.
Drawing influence from Nick Drake, Radiohead, and Elliott Smith, Foxglove balance acoustic melancholy with electric intensity. After spending the past year building their presence on stage, Skinwalker captures a band establishing a distinct sound between heavy grunge textures and human vulnerability.
