Hungarian modern alternative metal band Nightside Remedy have released their debut single, “Peace Of Mind,” marking the first chapter of the band’s upcoming four-track EP, set for release later this year.
Drawing on personal experiences, Peace Of Mind explores themes of anxiety, self-reflection and the search for inner peace. Blending heavy guitars, atmospheric textures and melodic songwriting, the track introduces the band’s modern take on alternative metal.
The single arrives alongside an official visualizer and is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and all major streaming platforms.
Nightside Remedy brings together musicians with long-standing roots in the Hungarian rock and metal scene. Guitarist László Kiss “TAZ” also performs with Hét Jel, drummer Illés Árpád Halász is a member of Fragda and provides backing vocals along drums, while vocalist Ádám Halász has previously performed with several Hungarian hard rock and metal bands, including Wildfire and Snakedance, where he and Illés first shared the stage. The friendship between the three musicians dates back to 2009, while the idea behind Nightside Remedy had been taking shape for years before finally becoming reality.
Speaking about the release, the band comments:
“Music has always been an anchor in the storm for us. Our shared love for the same bands and the same kind of music finally found its way into Nightside Remedy, a band we’ve dreamed of creating for many years. ‘Peace Of Mind’ was born from experiences we’ve all lived through, and it’s only the first chapter of what’s to come. We’re incredibly proud of this song because it represents both a new beginning and a promise we made to ourselves a long time ago. The time has come – and we’re here to stay.”
