Vazum Release A Double Single Today

Thief is the new double single from Detroit deathgaze duo, VAZUM. Released Friday March 25th, the double single consists of a dark rock and electronic version of Thief. The lyrics are inspired by energy vampires who prey on the desperation of their lackeys, using any means necessary to gain power. ‘A thief for me, my life, my pleasure’ is sung in unison by Emily Sturm (vocals/bass) and Zach Pliska (vocals/guitar/drums). Both versions were recorded and produced by VAZUM in their Light Echo Studios with artwork done by Emily Sturm. 

Since forming in 2017, VAZUM have forged a haunting sound all their own, combining elements of deathrock, post-punk and shoegaze which they refer to as deathgaze. The duo release music and videos regularly and are currently working on their next album.
