Vancouver, BC Aversions are streaming their latest composition, Famous Last Lines. The group stepped from their comfort zone due to the pandemic restrictions and recorded Famous Last Lines alongside three other tunes. The song was mixed by Jordan Koop (Orville Peck, Wolf Parade) at The Noise Floor recording studio and mastered by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven) at Atomic Garden in SF. Famous Last Line is the first one in the series from these sessions, and it showcases the sheer power of the group, which recorded it all live in one take. Expect nothing but a tremendous amount of energy transmitted through brilliant ideas and impressive musicianship.

Perhaps Aversions are taking post-punk aesthetics as the starting point, but the group incorporates many other ingredients along the way. Besides the dominant presence of post-punk, you may also notice elements of noise rock, post-hardcore, math-rock, punk rock, garage rock, and many other similar genres. Therefore, their sound is dynamic, diverse, unique, and the group escapes all the classifications into a singular music genre. From robust drumming performance to creatively performed chord progressions, Aversions are one of those bands that will leave you speechless. Famous Last Lines is available on Spotify, Bandcamp, Soundcloud, and YouTube.
