It’s impossible to argue about melodic punk rock scene and not to mention UK punk rock legends Snuff. If you grew up in the nineties, you probably have fond memories when you heard some of their albums such as Reach, Demmamussabebonk, Potatoes And Melons Wholesale Prices Straight From The Lock-Up or Tweet Tweet My Lovely. To put it out simply you can’t call yourself a punk rocker if you somehow missed their incredible music. The band was quite popular then and they’re still sounding great. There’s A Lot Of It About LP is a continuation of their recognizable sound which is so characteristic that you can guess which band is playing on the speakers every time. The band is delivering the same old energetic compositions from the very start of the album, Duncan’s voice is still sounding like a charm, guitars and bass are sounding exactly like twenty-five years ago, so melodic and beautiful, each song possesses something unique and special, so you definitely won’t be disappointed. The band is still accompanied by a trombone and Hammond organ, so the tunes are enriched with both on almost every composition of this great album. The album delivers large portions of cheerful, dynamic, soulful, dance-ready songs which will force you to move every bit of your body wherever you’re located. Snuff is one of those bands who are getting better by age, like a fine wine, their tunes are getting better and better, therefore their albums are becoming epic with time. There’s A Lot Of It About has been published by Fat Wreck Chords and it’s available on vinyl, CD and all streaming services, so don’t miss this incredible album by the punk rock icons.
