Tijuana-born artist Roger Lune has released “The Scene,” the title track from his alt-rock project Silent Lune‘s debut full-length album, out now on all streaming platforms. Recorded in Mexico City, the track utilizes a deliberate loud-quiet-loud dynamic inspired by the Pixies and Nirvana, building from slightly distorted guitars to a desperate climax.
Beneath the sonic architecture lies a crucial message about mental health. “We enter the mind of a character trapped in a duel between reality and madness,” explains Lune, highlighting the song’s cry for help from someone feeling exposed and trapped. Since debuting in 2014, Silent Lune has amassed hundreds of thousands of streams and shared stages with major acts across Mexico. The Scene serves as both a musical milestone and an urgent reminder to reach out to loved ones in crisis.
