Cornwall pop-punk outfit Kerosene Cocktail has returned with their tightly refined new single, “Polaroids.” Recorded at Cube Studios, the track marks a clear step forward for the band, channeling their famously raw live energy into a polished wall of sound. Built around layered guitars and the sharp, hook-led vocals of 20-year-old frontwoman Jasmine Wills, the song offers a modern edge to the classic pop-punk space.
Lyrically, “Polaroids” reflects on a time before everything was instant and disposable—when taking a photo required wait and commitment. “That’s what we wanted to capture, but still keep the energy high and make it hit hard,” the band explained. Following the momentum of their debut single “SMYT,” “Polaroids” proves Kerosene Cocktail is moving into a more focused, confident phase that is impossible to ignore.
