New Southwest contender in alternative rock, LES PALMS, releases debut single “Second Chance”. This track is a refreshing take on late 90s/early 2000s indie rock with a pop-punk punch. The lyrics preach a relatable human element, how in even the worst situations everyone deserves a second chance.
The group’s founder and guitarist Sean Fitz is the bassist for the RIAA Gold Certified American hard rock band OTHERWISE. Seth Laurent (frontman) and Volkan Tonga (bass) are both founding members of the high-energy Las Vegas band theguiltyparty. The trio met through shows with each other’s respective bands and bonded over writing music.
Sean Fitz on the single: “‘Second Chance’ was originally written for my solo project, but once I heard Seth’s version of the song, I knew we had something I wanted to run with. Flash forward four months, and Les Palms is more than just an idea.”
Seth Laurent behind the lyrics of “Second Chance”: “‘Second Chance’ is very personal to me. Not being adequate enough for someone due to a drinking problem is not a fictional tale in my life.”
Seth Laurent on recording with Chris Collier: “Working with Chris Collier was one of the best experiences I’ve had making music. He let me work through as many takes necessary, giving the track performance room to shine. “
The track is available everywhere from Apple Music to Spotify, and even your local Touch Tunes on April 10, 2026. You can find more information on the band at their website lespalms.com

These principles, layered on strong musical arrangements taking inspiration from The Killers, The Strokes, and Prince give Les Palms a compelling, impactful listen.
