Sheffield duo Rally has released their debut EP, Only Dreams, a dusty, DIY blend of alt indie, lo-fi rock, and hip-hop influences. Recorded between bedrooms and rehearsal rooms, the project evokes the mood of artists like King Krule and The Streets. Across the EP, Rally mixes raw guitars with tight drum programming and melancholic vocal lines to create a sound that is both handmade and cinematic. Only Dreams captures two friends filtering their shared influences through a distinctly Northern lens.
