Newcastle dream pop outfit Not Good Not Bad have released their hazy new lo-fi single, “Box Full of Flowers.” Recorded and mixed entirely in a home bedroom, the self-produced track explores personal growth, recovery, and finding quiet contentment after periods of uncertainty.
Marking the first of two singles leading into an upcoming five-track EP, “Box Full of Flowers” highlights the band’s signature DIY approach, blending atmospheric guitars, warm melodies, and unpolished intimacy. An official music video will premiere one week following the song’s digital release, following a forgotten box of flowers as it rejuvenates on a journey through the band’s hometown.
Drawing inspiration from shoegaze, indie rock, and melancholic songwriting, Not Good Not Bad capture comforting warmth beneath understated arrangements. “Box Full of Flowers” offers an honest soundtrack for navigating life’s quieter transitions.
