Bristol Grit Pop Project splitxlip Drop Single “What You Waiting For?”

Bristol-based grit pop act splitxlip releases breakout single “What You Waiting For?”, self-produced by frontwoman Bailey Blair.

Bristol-based “Grit Pop” project splitxlip, fronted by songwriter and producer Bailey Blair, has released their breakout single, “What You Waiting For?”. Blending crunchy guitar rock with immediate pop hooks, the track tackles overthinking, anxiety, and the bad habit of putting life on hold.

Self-produced by Blair, mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers), and mastered by João Carvalho, the restless single is accompanied by a self-directed music video featuring Blair running through a field with a Snorricam. Joined live by guitarist Mikey Lloyd and drummer Joe Clements, splitxlip turns personal struggles into cathartic, room-filling anthems. “What You Waiting For?” leads up to the band’s completed debut album.
