Canadian alternative act SoulWrekk returns with “(s)HELL,” a sharp, urgent protest song targeting the pervasive spread of disinformation. Drawing on the spirit of classic protest bands while infusing modern alternative and indie sounds, the track urges listeners to break free from manipulative narratives and reclaim their agency.

“(s)HELL” challenges audiences to recognize when their emotions are weaponized, advocating for resistance through words, votes, education, and conscious presence. SoulWrekk asks, “Why let others choose which way you’re gonna sleep, how far is too deep, what colour are the sheep?”—a call to sharpen critical thinking amid a fractured information landscape.

Fans, affectionately known as “Wrekkies,” can anticipate a new single every 13th of the month throughout 2025, starting with the forthcoming “Stomp” on June 13. While the sound remains rooted in alternative music, SoulWrekk promises evolving styles that reflect the urgency and depth of their messages.
