Pranatricks – Worlds

Canadian singer-songwriter Pranatricks unleashed another exceptional track a few days ago. “Worlds” is the fifth single released in 2023 that serves as an adequate sneak peek into “Elements of,” a new full-length album slated for release on April 4th, 2024. Once again, Pranatricks delivers brilliant ideas and exceptional musicianship through a marvelous mixture of several complementary music genres. Perhaps indie rock comes to mind, but this experienced artist also introduces some emo, psychedelic rock, alternative, dream pop, and folktronica elements into this mesmerizing track. Like in his previous works, Pranatricks uses these additional elements as more than necessary enhancements, accentuations, decorations, and other details that uplift his composition on an entirely new level, while he remains loyal to the primary sonic directions. Some readers might think it’s too many styles involved, but you will be surprised how everything resonates in perfect harmony that immediately penetrates the listening apparatus and refuses to let go.

“Worlds” stands out from anything you could hear on a contemporary indie scene. Pranatricks knows how to deliver fresh and unique sounds built upon impressive vocal, sonic, and rhythmic maneuvers. Once again, his vocal performance serves as a centerpiece that emphasizes all the instrumentations and segments. Subtly high-pitched vocal harmonies perfectly suit arpeggiated chord progressions, tastefully implemented throughout the entire composition. Pranatricks also thought about lead guitar, so you’ll hear how fuzzy themes, solos, melodies, and harmonies serve as another layer over the top that gives a bit more complexity to the track. These guitar dualities give a psychedelic, garage, and classic rock feel to “Worlds,” but Pranatrics somehow remains in indie rock waters from scratch to finish.

This number wouldn’t sound this good without equally complex, warm-sounding basslines, which provide heaviness, depth, and clarity, but also serve as a binding element between guitars and drums. Of course, the excellent drumming performance keeps all the orchestrations in line through well-accentuated, half-time, downtempo beats, breaks, fills, and other percussive acrobatics. Every instrument plays a significant role in shaping such a calm, soothing, relaxing, ethereal ambiance, which will appeal to your ears no matter which music genre you prefer. Pranatricks knows how to assemble perfect downtempo songs that showcase all his experience, knowledge, skills, and talent. He invested nothing but brilliant ideas into “Worlds,” and his effort paid off in a magnificent indie track that will become a staple on many playlists. The single is available on all streaming platforms. Don’t miss it!
