Snakedoctors – Why Don’t

Snakedoctors‘ latest single, Why Don’t, is a harmonious slab of sonic artistry that will immediately grab your attention. Their experience and skill are on full display as they deliver simultaneously energetic and powerful grunge/post-grunge tune. Featuring Nik Hughes from Bush on drums, Why Don’t is a song about love and the complicated routes within it. From the opening notes, the listener submerges into a vast universe built upon ear-appealing sounds that perfectly showcase Snakedoctors’ musical abilities. The guitar riffs are heavy and catchy, while the vocals are raw and emotional. One of the most impressive aspects of Snakedoctors’ music are their willingness to experiment with different sounds and textures, and Why Don’t demonstrates how their experimentations never fail to succeed. The band’s experience and musicianship shine through in every aspect of this song – from the tight arrangement to the blistering solos and emotive vocals. Snakedoctors are a band that knows how to write a perfect grunge song and execute it with immense precision and passion.

Still, grunge is not the only genre you’ll stumble upon while listening to Why Don’t. Quite the contrary, Snakedoctors fully stacked this number with some of the finest properties borrowed from other complementary music genres like alternative, nineties rock, garage rock, indie rock, and post-punk. Their ability to blend some of the best subgenres of rock music into a colossal slab of harmonious sonic artistry goes beyond comprehension so many times during this composition. The way guitars orchestrate together or match equally complex low-end notes keeps Why Don’t fresh, unique, and entertaining from scratch to finish. The exceptionally performed rhythmic sequences built upon moderate, well-accentuated beats, breaks, fills, and other percussive acrobatics emphasize and uplift every segment of this song on an entirely new level. Snakedoctors also thought about vocal arrangements a lot, and you’ll notice how calm, soothing, relaxing harmonies flawlessly match the orchestrations provided by the remainder of the band. Why Don’t proves all the experience, skills, talent, and musicianship of Snakedoctors, who once again delivered a perfect grunge/post-grunge track. The single is available on all streaming platforms.
