Socks On Records, a British record label operated by Das Kapitans, released a benefit compilation with all proceeds going to those affected by the war in Ukraine.

Das Kapitans spent much of 2021 locked away writing and recording 12 albums, but in between this began their mission on creating a community between artists and breaking down some of the barriers that exist in the world of unsigned bands. The release of this compilation album sees that effort starting to pay off with everyone generously donating songs for free – some exclusive and unreleased tracks.

We are UK based Post Punk/Alternative band Das Kapitans, the creators and owners of Socks On Records. We have linked in with 30+ artists and bands from across the world to put together the amazing Bandcamp only compilation STANDING WITH UKRAINE. It costs £5 to download (or more if you like) and all proceeds will be going to British Red Cross to support those being affected by the illegal war in Ukraine. It is heartbreaking to see the devastation being caused in the country and this is our attempt to pull together the music community to do a small bit to help. – said Das Kapitans
