Fairshake Share Their Newest Single

Atlanta, GA, alternative rock band Fairshake has released their newest single, “Another Round” – the second track to drop from their upcoming release, High Risk. “Another Round” offers a head-bobbing, post-grunge/hardcore sound coupled with a catchy, punk-inspired style that makes for a unique combination.

Lyrically, the song is smart in addition to being catchy, ping-ponging themes of trauma and recovery and reflecting on means of self-medication and personal rehabilitation. “Releasing “Another Round” after our first single from the High-Risk record is really fitting for the message of the album,” says guitarist and vocalist Shayne Goss. “Another Round” is a song of comfort in the realization that you do not have to be a victim and can take your power back. The take away from “Another Round” is that it does not matter what happens to you, it is all about how you consciously respond. What it all boils down to is that you are in charge of your own healing.”

High Risk is slated for release in its entirety in April of 2022. “This record is an excruciatingly beautiful story about how your tower of traumas that you call your identity can be crushed down to your foundation overnight,” says Goss. “It is your resistance to change that causes your suffering. High Risk puts a magnifying glass on the great experiment of life and  what happens when you’re finally are face to face with those fears that shaped your identity.”

Fairshake; In this moment you are judgment free, and stand in your purest form and Truth. A realization that we are here to heal from experiences and surrender into your highest form. You create your life from here on. This never ending journey with Shayne Goss since 2008 has been accompanied by many talented artists who have shared this vibration over the years.

Fairshake has experienced genre changes as the project has evolved, especially after inducting Tucker Harding and Chase Sammons in the fall of 2017. The project coming from emotionally charged singer songwriter roots with pop melodies has grown very naturally into the alternative rock, punk and dare we say “emo” music that we all grew up on and love.
