A home organ and drum machine lay down the track’s initial framework, preparing the ground for a piano hook that fully lives up to its promise. At its center, Schmidiger’s solemn baritone meets an angelic choir that gradually envelops the listener, transforming the unease suggested by the title into something unexpectedly warm and luminous.
