Bath-based post-punk quartet Bureau De Change is thrilled to announce they have officially signed with the beloved UK independent label Alcopop! Records. To celebrate the partnership, the band released their vicious new single, “The Gammon’s Lament,” on June 25, 2026. This track serves as the first taste of their highly anticipated debut album, scheduled for release in 2027.
Fronted by former Lambrini Girls vocalist Flora Kimberley, the band delivers a rage-fueled outcry against the bourgeoisie. The track is described by Kimberley as a protest song and an “outpouring of grief” against a political class that treats everyday people like a meal to be consumed. With mastering handled by Stephen Kerrison (DITZ, LIFE), the song pairs blistering, unapologetic musicianship with cuttingly sarcastic feminist and political messaging. Fresh off explosive performances at The Great Escape, Bureau De Change is proving to be a dominant force in modern post-punk.
