The punk rock underground just found its newest spark in HUKIES, a quartet formed by musicians who know how to balance raw energy with genuine vulnerability. Their latest single, “Get It Out”, arrives as a furious yet cathartic anthem, part primal scream, part emotional release.
With Jerry (Hatsnriver) and Pat (The Rumperts) splitting vocal and guitar duties, Ricky Fizz (The Rumperts) on bass, and young powerhouse Lee on drums, the band channels the urgency of frustration into a track that feels restless and liberating. It’s the final taste before their upcoming EP, and it already captures what HUKIES stand for: punk rock that doesn’t hide behind posture, but instead transforms sensitivity and rage into communal fire.
If “Get It Out” is any indication, the EP will hit with the immediacy of classic punk while carrying the honesty of a new generation unwilling to dilute their truth.
