Pop punk meets emo on “Waltz,” the explosive new single and video from New Orleans disruptors Neutral Snap. Known for their chaotic energy and nostalgia-laced riffs, the band delivers a heart-on-sleeve anthem that dives headfirst into the messy emotional territory of the classic situationship.
The band teamed up with Fred Mascherino (Taking Back Sunday, Say Anything, The Color Fred) and Rob Freeman (Hidden in Plain View) to create a song that brims with angst, melody, and that specific emotional tension only Neutral Snap can channel. Built on melodic hooks and punctuated by a soaring chorus, “Waltz” hits with the energy of a mid-2000s Warped Tour banger filtered through a modern lens.
Hailing from Louisiana, Neutral Snap has built a reputation for their wildly fun, emotionally honest, and irresistibly catchy blend of pop punk and emo rock. Their upcoming I Hardly Know Her EP promises more collabs, more punch, and more unfiltered honesty. Check out “Waltz” now.
