Atmospheric folk-rock project KRAMON, helmed by acclaimed TV and film composer Josh Kramon, returns with the lush new single “Morning Vapors,” now available on all major streaming platforms. Known for his work on Veronica Mars, iZombie, and Lethal Weapon, Kramon explores a more personal sonic universe with this track, blending psychedelic ‘70s guitar flourishes, groovy indie pop textures, and abstract, escapist lyricism.
Originally conceived as a hazy stoner anthem, “Morning Vapors” evolved into a spiritual reflection on connection and higher meaning. The track features Meredith Adelaide and Hunter Hawkins, whose ethereal vocals evoke shades of Mazzy Star and Beach House, while drummer David Goodstein injects hypnotic rhythms that pulse with quiet urgency.
The single teases KRAMON’s forthcoming album Evolutions—a cross-generational collaboration that showcases Kramon’s growth as a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. With “Morning Vapors,” KRAMON cements his shift from screen to soundstage, crafting dreamy grooves with emotional depth.
