Whippets Release Sophomore Album “No Skulls”

Madison, Wisconsin power trio Whippets—featuring Bobby Hussy (The Hussy) on guitar/vocals, Tyler Spatz on bass, and Hart Alan Miller (Tenement, MDC) on drums—have released their sophomore album, No Skulls, via No Coast. The ten-track release delivers a sharp blend of post-punk, grunge, and shoegaze, often dubbed “grungegaze.”

Known for chaotic live performances that earned them an opening slot for Jack White in 2024, Whippets follow up their sold-out 2022 debut 7″ and 2024 self-titled LP. Drawing on Hussy’s extensive background with dirtnap-signed group The Hussy, the band delivers tight, abrasive anthems. Whippets are supporting No Skulls with a Fall 2026 US tour, followed by a 23-date European tour in early 2027. Stream No Skulls on digital platforms or order LP/CD copies now.
