Milli & Bob unveil “Brésil,” a music video celebrating the legacy of Alys Robi. An AI-created visual homage to one of Québec’s great voices, ahead of the digital release of the album Alys Remixes Deluxe on November 6, 2026 via Groupe Fovéa.

Milli & Bob unveil today the video for “Brésil,” taken from their upcoming Alys Remixes Deluxe. Created with artificial intelligence as an artistic medium, the video is a tribute to Alys Robi, celebrating her voice, her musical legacy and her lasting influence on Québec culture.

The video marks the beginning of the countdown to the digital release of Alys Remixes Deluxe on November 6, 2026.

Rather than simply looking back, Milli & Bob use contemporary technology to bring Alys Robi’s world into the present. The visual universe of “Brésil” was created in a spirit of respect and homage, imagining a meeting between Robi’s era and today while keeping her music and unmistakable voice at the centre.

Alys Remixes Deluxe continues Milli & Bob’s exploration of Robi’s repertoire, bringing her pioneering recordings into dialogue with contemporary electronic, disco, house, electro-funk, trance and dub.

Tracks including “Brésil,” “Besame Mucho,” “Adios Muchacho” and “Tico” revisit Robi’s affinity for Latin rhythms, connecting the musical adventurousness of the 1940s with the production languages of today.

Born Alice Robitaille in Québec City in 1923, Alys Robi became one of the first Québec artists to achieve international recognition. Her career helped bring Latin American rhythms to French-language audiences and established her as one of the defining voices of her generation. Her life was later marked by mental illness, psychiatric institutionalization and remarkable resilience. Her story also contributed to changing perceptions of mental health and patients’ rights, cementing her place as a major figure in Québec’s cultural history.

With Alys Remixes Deluxe, Milli & Bob aim not to place that legacy behind glass, but to bring it back into motion.

Milli & Bob brings together Québec producers Millimetrik and Bob Riddim, combining more than 40 years of creative experience across electronic music, reggae, global sounds and reinterpretations of classic material. Their work has received nominations from the GRAMMY®, JUNO, ADISQ and GAMIQ awards.
