The Flying Beets – Don’t Let Me Notice

Don’t Let Me Notice” is the latest release by The Flying Beets, a Fort Worth-based rock trio. It’s their sixth piece of work this year, arriving as an adequate follow-up of “Good Morning,” “Better Off Alone,” “The Stupid Way You Breathe,” “Let’s Begin,” and “I See Through You (Acoustic),” five excellent standalone singles released earlier this year that will unquestionably appeal to anyone looking for cleverly assembled and flawlessly performed music. For those who missed our previous writing about this excellent band, The Fyling Beets combines several complementary music genres to illustrate luxurious sonic imagery. Perhaps alternative rock comes to mind, but you’ll also notice how some of the finest properties borrowed from indie rock, modern rock, and alt-country found their way into this sonic equation. These highly skilled musicians combine all these elements with such precision and finesse, making “Don’t Let Me Notice” such an incredible composition that will immediately resonate with the broader auditorium. With this tasteful combination, they vividly showcase their songwriting, composing, arranging, and producing abilities to the max. Therefore, this track will unquestionably appeal not only to alternative rock fans but also to anyone who appreciates good music.

As soon as you press play, you’ll notice how these experienced musicians fully stacked their composition with the finest vocal, sonic, and rhythmic maneuvers. Each instrument has its place and purpose, elevating the ambiance to new heights. “Don’t Let Me Notice” has a perfect structure, garnered with a profoundly detailed segment, brilliant ideas, and marvelous orchestrations, making this number worth repeating over and over again. Still, the passionate, sincere, confident, emotive, powerful vocal performance steals the show here. These vocal harmonies command attention and guide the listening apparatus from scratch to finish, decorating everything The Flying Beets intended to achieve with this track. You’ll hear how the impressive vocal range seamlessly floats above all those low, mid, and high notes, emphasizing segments and decoration with such precision and finesse. Of course, in the meantime, the guitars play a significant role in shaping such a perfect backdrop for all the vocals to shine upon. You’ll stumble upon the comprehensive collection built upon tastefully assembled, flawlessly performed, catchy, memorable, engaging riffs, chord progressions, harmonies, melodies, themes, and other sonic delicacies. The generous servings of distortion contribute to the rawness, abrasiveness, and grittiness of the guitars, but you’ll notice all those melodies, details, and nuances with such ease. Also, it’s nearly mindblowing how all these guitar layers match vocal performance harmoniously, making “Don’t Let Me Notice” even more pleasant to the ears.

This composition wouldn’t sound this good without the equally impressive rhythm section. There are profoundly detailed, audible, warm-sounding basslines lurking beneath all these guitar layers, giving more heftiness, clearness, and deepness to the song while binding all those abrasive riffs and chord progressions with rhythmic sequences. These low-ends are rich, dense, and heavy, and they contribute more power to this number. In the meantime, the experienced drummer delivers expertly performed, marvelously assembled, well-accentuated, moderate, groovy beats, breaks, fills, and other percussive acrobatics, elevating this number to new heights. These rhythmic patterns keep everything in line while dictating groove and tempo. The Flying Beets thought about everything while writing, composing, arranging, and producing their latest track, so if those guitars act as a perfect backdrop for all the vocals to shine upon, then the rhythm section serves as a backbone, holding everything together. The Flying Beets poured heart and soul into “Don’t Let Me Notice,” making it one of the finest alternative rock songs you’ll hear this year. It’s a soulful, sincere, emotive ode to rock music that blends nostalgia with a modern sound, proving that this longevous music genre can still sound fresh, unique, exciting, and entertaining. With all these marvelous vocal harmonies, catchy guitar works, intricate basslines, and groovy drums, The Flying Beets bring alternative rock music back on the map. It’s a powerful track that you should immediately place on your music radar. It’s available on all streaming platforms. Don’t miss it!
