Buñuel Shared New Single “Fixer”

A double album with three sides. A balancing act performed for and by the unbalanced.

Throughout, BUÑUEL take every opportunity to stretch their musical tendrils towards discomfort, surrealism and the deconstruction of tradition, as they reach absolute abandon. “Mansuetude” dives into the eye of the storm and beyond, encompassing many moods, from post-hardcore to avant-noise, hard blues to post-industrial, from symphonic thrash to metal to free-jazz, all played at great cost.

BUÑUEL makes music for those willing to take a closer, unflinching look at the depths of human instinct, and on “Mansuetude” the band have created an album that will free the listener of evil spirits and let the malignant influences loose. “Mansuetude” is a twenty- first century exorcism – right on time for the end time.

BUÑUEL “Mansuetude” will be released on October 25th, 2024 as a joint release from SKiN GRAFT and Italy’s OVERDRIVE Records. The first single “Drug Burn” is out now and can be purchased or streamed at digital services worldwide, and will be included as an instant download with a digital pre-order of the full-length.

“Mansuetude” was produced by Timo Ellis, and guests include Jacob Bannon, lead singer of CONVERGE, vocalist Megan Osztrosits of COUCH SLUT and SKiN GRAFT Records alumnus Duane Denison, guitarist of The JESUS LIZARD, TOMAHAWK and DENISON KIMBALL TRIO!

The physical album is available as a Gatefold Double LP, a Glass-Mastered Compact Disc, and as a UV Printed Cassette Tape.

A number of vinyl variants will be produced including a “HARD Smoked” vinyl edition, a Primeval GREEN variant (available exclusively at independent record shops) and the “Evergreen TYPHOON” multi-color Splatter Edition, available exclusively from the labels and from the band on tour.  Each album will include a Full Color Poster, a “Footlong” OBI and comes complete with an etching on Side Four of the double LP.
