RISE feat. stayMellow – Here I Am

Liverpool-based hard rock group RISE has recently released “Here I Am,” their latest single that will unquestionably appeal to anyone into catchy, memorable, flawlessly executed rock music. It’s their second piece of work in 2024, arriving as a perfect follow-up to”Memories And Possibilities,” an outstanding extended play release unleashed earlier this year. Soundwise, RISE embraces everything you dearly love about rock music. You’ll notice how they incorporated all the qualities of eighties, nineties, noughties, and contemporary hard rock. There are many elements borrowed from alternative, synth rock, indie rock, and soft rock lurking around as well, and don’t be surprised if you stumble upon some other sonic ingredients along the way. They use all these qualities as more than necessary enhancements, accentuations, decorations, and other details to uplift their latest song on an entirely new level while simultaneously remaining loyal to the primary sonic direction. Therefore, these experimentations with many different but complementary styles resulted in a mesmerizing number that will unquestionably appeal to all die-hard rock fans and beyond.

As soon as you press play, you’ll hear how tremendous knowledge, experience, skills, and talent shine from each section of this song. RISE thought about everything while assembling their latest single. The perfect song structure arrives with many segments garnered with brilliant ideas and exceptional musicianship that will satisfy even the pickiest listeners. You’ll notice how the skillful vocalist emphasizes all the mentioned segments and orchestrations with his impressive vocal range. The perfect balance between low, mid, and high notes glides over all the instrumentations delivered by these experienced musicians. You’ll also hear how the interplay between rhythm and lead guitars shapes the perfect backdrop for all those vocal maneuvers. The tastefully assembled chord progressions resonate on one side while the other shines with catchy leads, themes, melodies, and harmonies. In the meantime, mindblowing synth performance adds more layers of leads, melodies, and harmonies, contributing to the song’s complexity. It’s nearly mindblowing how all these instrumentations pair the vocals harmoniously.

Of course, this song wouldn’t sound this good without the rock-solid rhythm section. You’ll hear how the equally complex, vividly hearable, warm-sounding basslines roar beneath all the mentioned orchestrations, providing more than necessary heaviness, depth, and clarity, while simultaneously binding everything with the drums. The flawless drum performance keeps everything in line while dictating groove and tempo with marvelously arranged, precisely executed, well-accentuated beats, breaks, fills, and other percussive acrobatics. Each band member plays a significant role in this sonic equation, making “Here I Am” a pleasant listening experience. These experienced musicians poured heart and soul, and their efforts resulted in an otherwordly number that will unquestionably appeal to true rock fans. With a solid hard rock base, and many elements borrowed from complementary rock subgenres., “Here I Am” sounds so innovative, fresh, and unique. RISE breaks all the rules and shapeshifts the boundaries of the genre by tastefully and precisely merging all these elements into a fine piece of sonic artistry. Therefore, you should check out this song as soon as possible. The single is available on all streaming platforms. Don’t miss it!
