Punk troubadour KEPI GHOULIE, in keeping with his yearly tradition, has released a surprise album of Ramones covers for this Valentine’s season! CLICK HERE to listen to the first single, “She’s A Sensation.”

“Ramones In Love” take those classic Ramones love ballads with their unforgettable melodies and reimagines them with a new shine by adding features like keyboards, horns, and more! This album is available on 12″ neon pink vinyl, CD, and cassette.

For those not familiar with Kepi’s annual tradition, he has been known to release a song or two ahead of Valentine’s Day. However, with “Ramones In Love,” Kepi delivers an entire album of love songs for us to enjoy! The track choices are something Kepi has been contemplating tracing back to his teenage years when he even made a tape of all Ramones love ballads in chronological order.

To complement the release of “Ramones In Love,” Pirates Press Records will reissue the Groovie Ghoulies’ record “Born In The Basement.” This record holds a special place in the Groovie Ghoulies history, as it signaled their departure from LA to Sacramento and put them on the radar of Lookout Records, where that partnership would really blossom the Ghoulies’ career.

With the announce of Kepi Ghoulie joining the Pirates Press Records, a big plan was immediately devised. While Kepi has several albums waiting to be released, the label will also be reissuing records from both Groovie Ghoulies and Kepi’s back catalog. Pirates Press Records has already released Kepi’s cover album “Full Moon Forever” and Groovie Ghoulies’ “World Contact Day.”

“I am STOKED with the love and support of Pirates Press Records and constantly in a state of semi-belief about how fast and enthusiastically things are going! I have been at this for years and the kickstart/jumpstart/push from this crew, it feels like I am just getting started, and I AM! 💜” states Kepi.
