Seoul punk band 18Fevers just dropped a new single called “Save Your Venom”. The single is an aggressive female-led attack on a punk scene that isn’t alway supportive and unified. Instead, jealousy and back-biting happens all too frequently and 18Fevers is telling the haters to keep their venom to themselves because we have plenty to give back.
What makes this single even more special is that it features Zhong from Chinese power pop band The Sino Hearts on the lead guitar track. Zhong was hanging out in Seoul for awhile and offered to lay down some leads which turned out to be fucking sick! Zhong also used live footage of 18Fevers in The Sino Hearts music video for the song “Melting In the Sofa” proving that Asian bands have a special bond across languages and borders.
