Ubik Released Solace EP

Ubik is a melodic punk rock solo project born in 2019 and created by Tom Panier. Its debut 5-track EP, “Solace”, was mixed by Trevor Reilly (A Wilhelm Scream) and features guest vocals from Tom West (Darko). “Solace”, released on October 22nd 2022, is now out on major streaming platforms (Spotify, Bandcamp…).

On this release, Tom comments: “The EP’s goal, and more globally Ubik’s, is to have its listeners take a step back to think. Solace begins with a very broad, theoretical question (do we have free will, or is the Universe determined?). It then gradually closes up by focusing on our political and social system’s democratic character (or lack thereof), before moving on to our relationship to each other and ourselves. I guess I just talked about what’s already in my head all the time.”
