US indie-rock quartet Morning Trips has released a brand new single today. Where Is Your Out is their tenth composition in a row from the series of singles launched in 2018 and the first number released this year. This particular track serves as a proper continuation of their previous recordings, but as is usually the case, it also delivers many improvements. The band solely relies upon their admiration of alternative rock sound, but you can also hear other complementary genres. Besides the sheer dominance of ear-appealing alternative rock sound, you’ll unquestionably notice some elements of post-punk, indie rock, indie pop, synthpop, electronic music, and maybe some other genres along the way.
I adore how Morning Trip combines only the best elements of the beforementioned music genres. The song commences with an echoic, arpeggiated chord progression that defines music genres like post-punk, indie, and alternative, while the synth beats provide more than necessary rhythmic support. In the meantime, the various sequencers and keys give a more complex sound to the entire track. The composition transforms from an alternative rock banger to more of a contemporary electronic number where complex beats and sampled vocals are taking their dominance. “Where Is Your Out” is a cleverly assembled track that will satisfy your listening apparatus no matter which music genre you prefer. The single is available for listening to on all streaming platforms.
