Garrett Anthony Rice Unveils New Single “Sparking Waterfalls”

“Sparking Waterfalls” is the deeply moving new single from Garrett Anthony Rice, serving as the latest preview of his highly anticipated forthcoming double album, Equinox. Clocking in at nearly six minutes, the spacious alt-country track explores how ordinary moments forge permanent memories. Inspired by a friend’s childhood recollection of watching his late father’s welding torch illuminate a dark garage in 1960s Ireland, the song masterfully captures the essence of preserved time.

Unlike previous singles exploring darker themes of conflict, this arrangement embraces a softer emotional landscape. The track is beautifully patient, allowing melodies to wander and unfold naturally. Rather than rushing to a conclusion, Garrett Anthony Rice’s intricate phrasing stretches traditional song structures to mimic the feeling of a memory being reconstructed in real time. Garrett Anthony Rice’s “Sparking Waterfalls” is a breathtaking reminder that the smallest details often hold the deepest meaning. The track is streaming now.
