The Von Tramps Release Video For Live Fast

The Von Tramps

After the experimental Lo MeinThe Von Tramps return to their signature sound of finest pop punk. Live Fast is the last single of the upcoming album GO and perfectly sums up the overall theme.

“Live Fast was the first song we wrote for the new album. Prior to the pandemic, we were used to seeing each other nearly every day for the last five years. We wrote the song on the particular day, we were able to see each other for the first time after months of pandemic isolation. The lyrics started coming to us when we were sitting outside together catching up on life we had missed due to Covid-19. We took a cell phone recording of our first draft of the track and honestly, it didn’t change much from the concept to the final version you are hearing today”, says singer Jenna Enemy.

This single is vital to The Von Tramps, because lyrically and spiritually it is their pulse. All of the moments mentioned in the chorus are moments of trepidation that Jenna, Chelsea and Krissandra have experienced themselves – and they put themselves back in those moments realizing that they wish they had done the things mentioned sooner. After the last two years, special and fateful moments are more important to all of us than ever. Live Fast is therefore not only a personal anthem of encouragement for The Von Tramps, but will hopefully become an anthem for the whole world.

Jenna further explains: “We kept the music video very simple on purpose so that viewers would key in their focus on the song, it’s message and how it makes them feel. We shot this video ourselves with a little help from our close friends in our hometown of Minneapolis, MN. A little disclaimer here: We don’t actually want y’all to die young, but we think it’s really important for people to recognize that life is short, and your right moment is now, because it may be all we got! Don’t give up on the faith, the hope, and the punk rock – keep holdin’ on!”

GO will be released on March 11, 2022 on SBÄM Records.
