The international indie duo I Am The Unicorn Head recently released a new single. Unicorn Of Death is their fourth single in the row that comes right after Turn It On, Omnipresent, and Eating Cornbread In Quarantine. The single explores the old Kaiju movies through a humorous story. Unicorn Of Death follows the story of a pacifist Unicorn who’s suddenly captured by the evil forces. After implementing the microchip into his brain, mounting lasers to his head, and turning him into an unstoppable killing machine, a Unicorn unleashes all his new powers by creating havoc all over the city. It’s quite a hilarious story that somehow goes perfectly with the complex indie sound of I Am The Unicorn Head.
Soundwise, Unicorn Of Death explores a psychedelic side of indie rock music. The duo also includes some other elements like alternative rock, space rock, synth rock, and psych-pop, so the entire composition is calmy but complex. Unicorn Of Death possesses a rememberable, super catchy, cleverly assembled chorus that immediately gets into the listener’s head and refuses to go. You’ll solely enjoy this tune if you’re into perfectly executed synth/indie rock, decorated with a psychedelic, spacey, reverby ambiance. Unicorn Of Death Is Available for listening on all streaming services.
