Those Fucking Snowflakes – U OK Hun? CD (The Recording Industry Is Dead Records)

Those Fucking Snowflakes are one of those bands who are successfully circumventing any categorizations under one appropriate genre, but somehow, their music sounds both chaotical and unifying at the same time. The band was formed in Blackpool, UK last year, but they’ve already acclaimed loads of positive critics from some very important personas in the music industry, therefore, U OK Hun? is highly anticipated debut EP comprised of enormously energetic compositions vividly pervaded with some quality arrangements. Those Fucking Snowflakes could be unquestionably interpreted as a post-hardcore punk band, but their music certainly showcases even more than meets the eye, so you may hear subtle elements of well-calculated punk rock, fuzzy noise rock, math-rock progressions or even calmy indie parts. One thing is for certain, Those Fucking Snowflakes are tearing the walls apart with sheer dynamism, powerful shreddings, raging fuzzy basslines, and highly energetic drumming segments. These raging components are orchestrating the entire spectrum of sonic maneuvers that are sometimes spanning to the enormous proportions. The band uses the mechanisms of leftist politics to address various issues which are surrounding the UK today. The band calls to unity, impoverishes equality, criticizes Tories, criticizes Piers Morgan’s fabricated frustrations about vegan sausage rolls, points fingers at the chauvinistic men who act like victims towards uprising waves of feminism, but also encourages all groups and individuals to escape the mold by ignoring the hellions. Even the song titles such as Stop Being Dickheads To Each Other, Vegan Sausage Rolls VS Gammon Faced Vampires, Hellions On The Sands and Fuck The Fucking Man are vividly describing their intentions to enlighten potential consumers of their superb music. Those Fucking Snowflakes are bursting clusters of politically charged lyrics at all the cruelties of the modern UK, graciously supported by the powerful post-hardcore music. The band has done everything in the spirit of DIY ethics, so they’ve published U OK Hun? on a compact disc on their newly established record label called The Recording Industry Is Dead Records. This EP is also available at their Bandcamp page, so I advise you to check their music as soon as possible.
