Joe Sparks Share New Song “Pure Blue Gertrude”

Berklee-trained multi-instrumentalist Joe Sparks combines sophistication with immediacy on his new project, Regina In Her Purple Coveralls Inside The Circle, due out October 30, 2026. Self-produced and performed entirely by Sparks, the album cultivates a unique sound driven by complex melodic rhythms and humorous, spiritual, and introspective songwriting.

Sparks returns with “Pure Blue Gertrude,” a hypnotic, atmospheric track layered with expressive instrumentation and vivid storytelling, exploring the blurred lines between friendship, betrayal, and self-reliance, while reflecting on the painful realization of who is truly there for you. Regina In Her Purple Coveralls Inside The Circle is a genre-fluid independent release from Sparks that moves between alternative rock, groove-driven experimentation, melodic pop sensibility, and reflective songwriting. Joe Sparks is a Berklee College of Music graduate with honors, a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter,producer, and guitarist whose work combines formal musical structure with groove-centered energy, psychedelic tonal color, and direct emotional force. His music is built around cohesion: recurring motifs, deliberate sequencing, strong rhythmic movement, and arrangements that balance advanced musicianship with immediacy.

Regina In Her Purple Coveralls Inside The Circle is a focused 12-track album written, recorded, and produced by Sparks, who performs every instrument and sound on the record, with vocal accompaniment by Taylor Bowen on Track 1. The album presents a complete artistic statement: smart, well-produced, rhythmically compelling, and musically sophisticated, moving through spiritual ambition, emotional complexity, humor, reflection, and release with a distinctive voice and a clear internal arc
