Copenhagen-based alt-rock band Vinyl Floor has released “Tell the World it Happened,” the fourth and final single from their acclaimed album Balancing Act. Formed in 2007 by brothers Daniel and Thomas Charlie Pedersen, the duo is internationally renowned for their melodic rock heavily inspired by 60s and 70s British pop.
Recorded at Studio Möllan in Malmö, Sweden, and produced by Emil Isaksson, this new track leans into moody art-rock territory. It is driven by a steady drumbeat, elegant piano arpeggios, and dramatic strings performed by Christian Ellegaard of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. The arrangement perfectly captures a sense of urgency and theatrical tension.
