A Part Of Us launches their new studio work: ten years of journey packed into a fast, technical, and sincere record, distributed by the independent label.
On May 29, 2026, “More Nightmares Than Usual” was released, a new studio album from the melodic hardcore band, pressed and distributed in Italy by NoReason Records. The album has been anticipated over the past few months by a trio of singles showcasing the record’s diverse souls: the anger of “This-illusion”, the tight tribute to a classic with their cover of “Gut Shot” (Much The Same), and the heavy emotional drive of the latest release, “A Beautiful Reason”.
More Nightmares Than Usual is an album that takes no shortcuts. Musically, it picks up the thread of fast, technical skate punk the band grew up on, pushing the impact of the riffs and the solidity of the structures even further.
The lyrics capture the gears of daily life, moving between disillusionment, personal growth, and raw emotions. Tracks like the recent “A Beautiful Reason” lay bare the band’s most intimate, romantic, and visceral side: a literal open letter dedicated to a girl, speaking of past regrets, the fear of losing one another, and the strength of finding each other again—showing the vulnerability of someone who has finally found a reason to believe in love and feel less alone.
The album represents the perfect synthesis of the band’s current sound, blending live-show energy with carefully crafted instrumental parts, with a constant nod to the genre’s historical benchmarks like A Wilhelm Scream, Mute, or Belvedere.
Active since 2016, following their debut “Different Stories on the Same Road” (2019), A Part Of Us have moved through recent years facing lineup changes and steady artistic growth. Tours abroad across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland cemented the spirit of the project, which found its definitive dimension with the arrival of their new vocalist.
The tracks on More Nightmares Than Usual were born from this rediscovered stability. The collaboration with NoReason Records for the Italian release seals the maturity of a story that puts independent passion first.
