Originally released in 2022, Bed’s Self Titled marked the band’s first full-length statement — a 12-song collection balancing shimmering shoegaze textures, post-hardcore urgency, and emotionally charged alternative rock songwriting. Earlier this year, Quiet Panic reissued the album on vinyl for the very first time as a limited opaque white with pink splatter pressing.
Now, BED revisit one of the album’s defining songs with a new visual companion that captures the emotional weight and atmospheric intensity of “From Above.” The track itself was recorded with Alex Estrada (Joyce Manor, Touché Amoré, NAILS, Xibalba) at Pale Moon Ranch and mixed by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Gouge Away, Loma Prieta) at Atomic Garden.
Emerging from the outskirts of Los Angeles, BED began as a solo project before evolving into a full band shaped by DIY touring, collaborative songwriting, and years spent building their sound in underground venues across the West Coast and beyond. Drawing inspiration from acts like Title Fight, Basement, Smashing Pumpkins, Nothing, Joyce Manor, and Blink-182, the group has developed a style that feels equally nostalgic and immediate — melodic without losing its edge.
