Formed by five East Coast natives who relocated to Nashville, PNTP blends jazz, funk, rock, folk, and punk into a distinctive sound. “Lingua Franca” serves as a song of awakening—a cry against absolutes that demands we be present and care for each other amidst the world’s noise. Clocking in at roughly four minutes, the track maintains an indie-pop sensibility packed with hooks, despite its underlying angst. Recorded at the iconic Blackbird Studio, it is a testament to the band’s intricate songwriting and high-energy performance.
