Canadian alternative rock band Awake & Dreaming has announced a high-profile re-release of their breakthrough track, “I U Me.” Far from a simple remaster, the band describes this version as a “rebirth,” reimagined from the ground up for radio and global playlists.
The track was mixed by 9-time Juno Award winner Jay Dufour and mastered by the legendary João Carvalho (Rush, Tragically Hip). The result is a tighter, more powerful production that preserves the song’s signature ethereal textures while amplifying its cathartic release. Exploring themes of connection in an age of isolation, the new version of “I U Me” is purpose-built to cut through the noise of 2026.
