Ben Quad Leaves Midwest Emo Structure For Hopeful New Album “Wisher”

Ben Quad has released their new album, ‘Wisher,’ on November 14th via Pure Noise Records. The album follows their debut and reflects a more hopeful perspective, with the title symbolizing the wish for a better future, offering growth where their earlier work held doubt. To bring the album to life, the band left the Sooner State for New Jersey, connecting with producer Jon Markson in an idyllic farm/studio setting. Tracks like “It’s Just A Title” musically lean into pop elements and heavy synths, breaking away from strict Midwest emo and punk structures.
