The WEIRD SCENE compilation is out now digitally and on vinyl, capturing a fleeting musical renaissance in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, curated by Jeremy Willis. The collection unites genres, featuring an exclusive moody dirge from Academy Award-winning songwriter Rossomando and a five-alarm scorcher from queer DIY punk band first president of japan. Described as a love letter to the artists and accomplices Willis collaborated with, the record features local heroes like Kyp Malone (TV on the Radio) and Adam Green (Moldy Peaches). A release party is set for this Sunday at 101 Nightclub.
