Richmond, Virginia’s REVERSE YR CURSE release their debut album Where Are We Going and When Will We Get There? on September 19. Recorded with Alex De Jong at Spacebomb Studio, the album follows critically acclaimed singles “Shoes Today” and “Who Cares,” praised by Bandcamp, Glide Magazine, and Magnet. Blending artful indie rock with nuanced songwriting, the trio crafts songs that wrestle with struggle, mortality, and hope. Critics note the album’s “arty jangle and big hooks,” alongside an intimacy steeped in nostalgia but tempered by maturity. With ethereal vocals, swirling harmonies, and intricate production, REVERSE YR CURSE balance experimentation with classic songwriting, offering music both tender and unflinching.
