Immersion, the electronic duo of Wire’s Colin Newman and Minimal Compact’s Malka Spigel, have unveiled their latest single “Push The Rock.” The track arrives ahead of the duo’s forthcoming album WTF??, out September 26 via their own label, swim ~.

The song captures a message of resilience. Newman and Spigel explain: “It’s about surviving in this messy world, we push the rock because we have no choice.” Accompanied by a self-made video with Ben Newman, the single follows last month’s release of “Use It Don’t Lose It.”

WTF?? was shaped by live energy following Immersion’s recent UK and U.S. tours, combining taut melodies with hypnotic songwriting. The album will include four vocal-led pieces and four instrumentals, offering a snapshot of turbulent times through minimalist, groove-driven production.

To support the release, Immersion will tour the UK this fall, including a special listening event in Brighton with John Robb. Tickets are on sale now.

Immersion UK Tour Dates:

October 3 – Brighton, UK @ The Actors (listening party & Immersion in conversation with John Robb)
October 29 – Leeds, UK @ The Attic
October 30 – Glasgow, UK @ MONO
October 31 – Manchester, UK @ Kamera
November 1 – Coventry, UK @ Just Dropped In

November 8 – Cambridge, UK @ Crushing Death & Grief Festival
