White Lies Release New Single “Keep Up” Ahead Of Night Light Album

White Lies – Harry McVeigh, Charles Cave, and Jack Lawrence-Brown – have released the video for their latest single, “Keep Up.” The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming seventh album, Night Light, set for release on November 7 via Play It Again Sam.

Following earlier singles “Nothing On Me” and “In The Middle,” “Keep Up” showcases the trio’s progressive sonic approach, blending Motorik rhythm with sweeping, almost fairground-like choruses. The band describes it as “a headstrong pop song – uncomplicated and eager for purity and no speedbumps.”

White Lies approached Night Light with a back-to-basics method: mastering songs live before recording, inspired by the spirit of The Midnight Special. Writing sessions took place in McVeigh’s London flat, while the album’s communal recording process brought a raw, emotional immediacy. With additional contributions from keyboardist Seth Evans, the record spans disco, progressive rock, and synth-driven soundscapes.

With nearly two decades of global touring and a reputation as one of the UK’s most consistent guitar bands, White Lies continue their evolution with what may be their most cohesive album yet.
