The Moss return after a year-long silence with their compelling new single Darkness, released via S-Curve Records. Known for crafting shining, organic indie rock steeped in warmth and sincerity, the alt/indie outfit here leans into something darker, yet equally captivating. Tyke James’ words cut to the core, “Darkness is written as this cyclical thought, of caring deeply about someone, but needing space from them to sort out your own emotions.” It’s an emotional tightrope set to the band’s trademark melodic pull, a sheer example of their growth as one of the most exciting names in alternative rock today.
With over 75 million streams, high-profile festival appearances, this single is a statement. The forthcoming EP can’t arrive soon enough.
