Oxford-based synth punk trio In-Flight Movie have dropped their latest single, “Factory,” a pulsing, cinematic track that fuses gritty analog textures with post-industrial energy.
Drawing inspiration from Black Marble, LCD Soundsystem, M83, and sci-fi soundtracks like Stranger Things and Blade Runner, In-Flight Movie blend chaotic live drums (Simon Calver), vintage synths (Pete Armstrong), and razor-sharp guitars, anchored by James Askwith’s soaring vocals.
“Factory” is a dystopian anthem for modern times, industrial, danceable, and emotionally charged. With each release, In-Flight Movie are proving themselves a vital new voice in the UK’s underground synth punk scene. The track is out now on all streaming platforms.
