Palette Knife Drop New Single “Prototype V.2”

Columbus, Ohio-based emo punk trio Palette Knife have returned with a blistering new single, “Prototype V.2,” available now on all major streaming platforms via Take This To Heart Records. The track builds on the band’s signature blend of angular guitars, confessional lyrics, and high-energy rhythms, pushing their sound into even sharper territory.

Following the success of their 2023 album New Game+, Palette Knife continue to blur the lines between emo revival, math rock, and melodic punk. “Prototype V.2” showcases their talent for catchy hooks and dynamic songwriting while leaning into themes of identity, vulnerability, and transformation.

With its frenetic pacing and layered instrumentation, the single reaffirms Palette Knife’s place among a new wave of emo punk bands reinvigorating the genre.
