MSPAINT, the boundary-pushing Mississippi quartet known for fusing hardcore urgency with synth-driven post-punk, have unveiled their latest single, “Drift.” The track arrives in anticipation of No Separation, a new EP slated for release May 23 via Convulse Records. Following the critical acclaim of their 2023 debut Post-American, “Drift” continues the band’s evolution, pairing confrontational lyricism with pulsating electronic textures. With its stark minimalism and confrontational spirit, MSPAINT’s new material reinforces their place at the vanguard of a resurgent Southern punk scene. “Drift” is now streaming across platforms. A full EP release promises to further challenge genre expectations.
